AUP 250 - Public Affairs
Course Description
This course provides students with experience in writing for the media, public appearances, static displays, digital photography, social media, and the National Safe Boating campaign such that they are prepared to serve as unit level public affairs officers. Students wishing to obtain their Public Affairs Specialist I (PAI) qualification should complete this course.

PUblic Affairs Specialist III Qualification Requirements
The Public Affairs Specialist III qualification is not required to pass AUP 250. AUP 250 prepares the student for the oral portion of the crew qualification exam. To fully qualify as Crew in the Auxiliary the student must complete:
- ICS - 100;
- AUP 250 - Public Affairs; and
- Public Affairs Specialist III Performance Qualification System.
