Subj: STUDENT CHAIN OF LEADERSHIP ACADEMIC YEAR 2018-19 APPLICATIONS

1. AUP is now accepting applications for Student Chain of Leadership (SCOL) positions for the 2018-2019 academic year. The open positions are Division Leader (DL), Deputy Division Leader (DDL), and Division Operations Leader (DOL).

2. Those seeking to apply should provide a resume, a letter of recommendation, a 250-word personal statement outlining personal reasons for applying, and a one-page strategic vision outlining challenges and opportunities facing AUP and goals for the upcoming academic year. Please see the attached for an example of a strategic vision. Students may develop their own format so long as they address the same points and maintain the one-page length.

3. Applications will be accepted until COB 30 APR 18 and should be sent to LTJG Christopher Papas at Christopher.D.Papas@cgauxnet.us. All applications will be considered for all SCOL positions by members of the National Staff. Finalists will be contacted for additional questions. Final notification will occur NLT 11 MAY 18.

4. Students should be in AUP Senior status to apply.
