Jacob Thayer currently serves as a project manager in the Strategic Planning Directorate working on projects of national significance. He's attending Washington & Lee University for law school and maintains a home in Houston, Texas as well as Buena Vista, Virginia. He's currently a member of Flotilla Austin, where he serves as the Immediate Past Flotilla Commander. He left the flotilla in the hands of another former AUP student after having grown the unit to be the largest flotilla in the 8th Coastal Region District, earning several awards in the process--both individual and for the unit.
